This might be a little bit of an exaggeration but I do think that if you are playing online that you might want to consider blacklisting your IP. If you are playing online, chances are you are using a game server and you should be using your account to get online. Most of the time, IPs and DNS servers will give you an IP address in the network you are connecting to, but the server you are connecting to might not have an IP address in the network.

This means that you can’t get to your Xbox account through your account manager, so you have to use a different IP address. This is a little bit of a hassle, but it is necessary if your IP address can’t be found.

So, if you are using a XBOX as your gaming machine (i.e. a console that is connected to the internet), you should blacklist the IP address of your XBOX, so even if it is not able to find your account on the internet, it can find it on the XBOX. You should do this for every IP address on your XBOX.

The account manager is a bit different from the usual Xbox account management, but it is rather easy to access. You have to find the account manager’s icon on your XBOX, but once you do, you can see the account information for all of your XBOXes.

If you can’t stop your friends from using your IP address on the internet, you can at least block all of them. This is called “blacklisting” your IP address in the Xbox, and it is one of the easiest things to do. All you have to do is go to the Xbox’s account manager, click on “account settings”, and in the drop-down menu, select “settings”.
